Our Tanzanian cacao beans come from the Kokoa Kamili co-operative, bordering on the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, among the most Biodiverse regions in the world!

Kokoa Kamili purchases cacao from almost 3,000 small-holder farmers, resulting in a significant economic impact, and improved quality of life for farmers and their workers.

Featured on the cover are a pair of Iringa Red Colobus’, a species of primate that is only found in this amazing area!

With bright fruity notes of cherry and citrus, and a low bitterness level, this is an easy eating, and quite refreshing, dark chocolate, while still keeping the acidity in check so it won’t overwhelm.
