What we were thinking
Coffee people and chocolate people are usually chasing the exact same thing - depth, aroma, unexpected nuance, and that immediate “oh wow” moment.
This bar was built for the overlap.
Big espresso flavor, deep chocolate, and enough roast character to make both sides happy.
How we did it
We paired cacao from the Zorzal Reserve in the Dominican Republic with bold Café Cubano-style French roast espresso made from organic fair trade beans sourced across Latin America and Indonesia.
The Dominican cacao brings deep classic chocolate flavor with subtle red-fruit notes, while the dark roast espresso pushes the bar firmly into rich mocha territory without overpowering the chocolate underneath.
The TL;DR
Dark chocolate. French roast espresso. Mocha energy.
Roasty, rich, bittersweet, and very likely to disappear next to a great cup of coffee.
