What we were thinking

Florida is hot, coffee is necessary, and we wanted a mocha that actually felt refreshing to drink.

Creamy without being heavy. Chocolatey without turning (entirely...) into dessert. Amazing over ice on a brutal afternoon, but still worth making hot when Florida remembers winter is a thing.

How we did it

Calling this a drink mix feels unfair.

Instead of creating a blend of powders inspired by a café drink, we make the actual café drink first, then freeze-dry it into a just-add-water packet.

We start with coffee beans that already lean naturally chocolatey, add our Tanzanian cacao, a generous splash of sweet cream, and a few pumps of vanilla syrup.
