What we were thinking

Inspired by slow weekends in southern Spain - horchata de chufa served cold in seaside cafés overlooking the Mediterranean. Creamy, a dash of cinnamon, and a citrus twist.

How we did it

Traditional tiger nut milk, made from Spain-grown chufa, brings a dairy-free creaminess. Sweet and nutty with an earthy undertone, rounded out by warm cinnamon. Bright Tanzanian cacao keeps it light while naturally bringing in the citrus edge traditional to horchata in Valencia.

The TL;DR

Creamy horchata. Cinnamon. Bright cacao.

Sweet, nutty, lightly spiced, and one of those flavors people seem to recognize immediately even if they can’t quite place it.
