We are excited to introduce this Guatemalan cacao to our line! This dynamic cacao will take you on a journey through a range of flavors that transition from start to finish.
It’s not typical for a 75% chocolate to have such a sweet profile, but the red fruit notes make it a standout. As the flavors travel around your palate, the red fruit fades away, giving way to a chocolatey and nutty flavor, which ultimately concludes with a gentle citric acidity and a moderately bitter finish of orange peel.
Typically, we aim to keep bitterness to a minimum in our chocolate, but the pleasantly bitter candied orange peel taste is a departure from the norm that we’re quite excited about. The flavor journey that this chocolate takes you on makes the deviation worthwhile.
